Rotary is one of the greatest service organizations in the world, partly because it makes an extraordinary effort to train its members and its leaders. In addition to opportunities to learn at club assemblies, we offer a variety of choices for training in District 5220.
During each Rotary  year we have special half day sessions to offer insight to Rotarians in order to help them become better leaders. The first of these coming up is our Foundation and Membership Seminar in August. Click on the links to see copies of the flyer and registration form.

We previously offered P.R.L.S. (pronounced Pearls) or Potential Rotary Leadership Seminars, which encompassed three half day training sessions in a classroom setting. To broaden the availability and better fit the tight schedules of Rotarians, we now have the self study Leadership Academy which includes a range of ten courses. To learn more about this, press the ACADEMY navigation button at the top of the page.

Membership is an important subject for all Rotary clubs. We need to recruit new members constantly, to offset the normal turnover as members move away or leave to deal with the myriad of conflicting demands on their time. We also want to gather more hands to help us with Rotary's charitable work in our home communities and throughout the world. In addition to the seminar in August, follow the MEMBERSHIP navigation button at the top of the page to access a wide variety of PDF files developed by the district and by our clubs in years past. This timeless assortment of thoughts on adding and retaining members is sure to be a great resource for you as you address these same issues in your own club.

Comments and questions may be addressed to webmaster@rotary5220.org. We hope you enjoy your visit.
